The Musique en Terrasses (music on the terraces) Festival will be taking place from 21 June until 25 August 2016, at Paris-Bercy, giving you the chance to enjoy some great free concerts!
So head off to discover the many temporary venues set up on terraces across the city. This is a great opportunity to get away from it all, relax and enjoy pleasant summer evenings.
Here are a few examples:
- GRAND TRAIN (Big Train): Set up beside an old SNCF railway depot – from 4 May to 16 October 2016.
- LA PAILLOTE DE L’OPERA (the beach hut at the opera): Sprawl on a lounger with your feet in the sand and admire the marvellous view of one of Paris’s finest monuments, the OPERA GARNIER – 14 May to 1 October 2016.
- LE PLAYTIME: A barge with a fabulous terrace, moored opposite the Cité de la Mode et du Design (City of Fashion and Design). The whole place has been fitted out to resemble a floating apartment and to make you feel completely at ease – 4 May to 30 September 2016.
